nicked journal is a new law editorial that i’ve have the pleasure of art directing. working closely with the nicked writing and editing team, i’ve bought to life the important and hilarious stories nicked has to offer. 

nicked journal celebrates the absurdity of the trial by examining the sheer ridiculousness of the unobserved and seemingly unremarkable cases that pass through our courts every day. the aim is simple: to encourage readers to take to the public gallery in masses. to fidget, to scoff, and to smile wryly from the sidelines as lawyers and judges muddle through contradictory evidence, unhelpful witnesses, and ludicrous arguments in an attempt to find the truth and the law. the honest and conversational commentary of nicked journal transforms the mundane into a monumental farce to engage and inspire a new generation who are actually interested in the law, that thing that we live our lives by.
